CHANDIGARH, 08.08.25-Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, President, Chandigarh Traders Association (Regd.), Sector 17, and President, National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India, has taken serious note of President Trump’s decision to impose a 50% duty on Indian goods. He stated, “Now, it is our duty to stand with our nation. This is the time to respond with wisdom and unity.” As a mark of protest, he urged citizens to refrain from consuming food and drinks from the following American brands:

Mr. Panchhi appealed to every Indian to take a pledge to guide their families, friends, and especially children to avoid products from these American brands. He also urged all Trader Associations and Resident Welfare Associations of the city to come forward and encourage their members to join this movement.
